Legal Aid

Kimberly also accepts legal aid certificates for some matters. She is qualified under Legal Aid Ontario standards as a member of their panel to accept “Extremely Serious Criminal Matters”, which are defined as youth or adult trials, appeals or extraditions of all murder charges, all dangerous offender applications, and charges with a mandatory minimum penitentiary sentence of 4 years or more. Kimberly is also a member of Legal Aid Ontario’s Gladue panel, to assist individuals who self-identify as Aboriginal.
